I will be able to: give my presentation So that I can: connect what I learned previously to my own real world scenario I will show that I understood it by successfully completing my presentation with my group with at least 80% accuracy. 6.SP. A.4 6.SP. A.5

Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to communicate the academic math language of statistics. They will be able to use the statistical data they collected to analyze, summarize, and display their data. They will show their understanding by giving their presentation with at least 80% accuracy. Academic Math Language Vocabulary: : data, statistical data collection tool, analyze, summarize, graphical model, dot plot, box and whiskers, histogram

Developing a Statistical Project (as a review) Over the past few days, you have been working in a small group to apply the skills you have learned from statistics to create and implement your own statistical project. Your group will: Create a statistical question. Determine a data collection tool. Gather the data using the collection tool from at least 50 students. Organize the data you have collected and graph the data in at least 2 different ways. Utilize the graphs to answer your statistical question. Create a visual (poster) that includes your statistical question, graphs, measures of center and variability (mean, median, mode, MAD, range) Prepare a presentation

Class Agenda: Presentations. We will be respectful, responsible and scholarly as we LISTEN to our classmates share their presentations with us. You must complete the rubric for the presentations.

How do you feel? topic.
