SP 2.3 Choosing Random Samples Learning Target: I will select and analyze random samples. Homework: Use a spinner and the data from p. 6 to complete p. 11 in the packet. Warm Up: Find the 5-number summary for the following data 45, 76, 92, 35, 97, 65, 87, 33, 33, 66, 12

you must have work verifying the other person’s correctness!) Summary of Lesson 2.3 – Choosing Random Samples We had many different random samples of 30 from the population of 100. (movies & sleep) Were our samples the same, or was there variance amongst our samples? Do you think some samples were a better representation of the population than others? Conclusion: Sampling is a good technique in general, but it can occasionally lead to drawing poor conclusions.
