THE OCEAN

OCEANS On Earth there are five oceans. There are a lot of tipes of animals, plants, etc. the marine biome is the biggest in the world ! It covers about 70% of the earth .the oceans are Pacific ocean , Atlantic ocean , Indian ocean , Artic ocean , and Southern ocean ,as well as many smaller Gulfsand Bays.

ANIMALS IN THE OCEAN The Earth's oceans are home to most of the planet’s biodiversity. Here we can find mollusks, fish, whales, crustaceans, bacteria, fungi, sea anemones and many other animals. The oceans are the house of the blue whale, is the biggest animal in the earth.

PLANTS IN THE OCEAN Over one million species of plants have been discovered in the ocean.One type of marine algae is kelp. Kelp is important because it provides shelterat food for a lot of sea creatures, like corals, alges and reef

POLLUTION Where does all that trash come from? Where does it go? Much of it ends up on our beaches washed in with the waves and tides, some sinks, some is eaten by marine animals mistaking it for food. Other forms of pollution come from known sources like an oil spill or from fertilizer from our yards.
