Traffic & Construction Carpool Use queue lanes. Do NOT “cut” in the queue lane. Slow down…plan to spend 10-20 minutes picking up and dropping off at peak times. Stay alert. Do not ask children to cross through passing cars. Watch for children darting between cars. Insist that your children use the crosswalks. Have designated drop-off and pick-up areas. If possible, have those areas away from high traffic areas.
