JFK Assassination President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas while on a political trip. November 22, 1963 Lee Harvey Oswald shot and killed the 35th President, John F. Kennedy. That same day Vice President, Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn into office.

The Warren Court The Warren Court (1953-1969) was known as the Supreme Court under Chief Justice Earl Warren which conducted key court cases dealing with civil rights. Including segregation, education, and women’s rights. Supported the movement towards social changes and equality.
