Bloomsbury Group A loose group of members that met in central London Associated with many people talented in the arts They met to discuss a wide range of topics, but mostly left politics out. Supported gay rights, the role of women in the arts, and other unorthodox ideas during the time period. Discussed Aesthetic and philosophical questions from an agnostic perspective. Was strongly influenced by G.E. Moore’s Principia Ethica. The members’ works influenced Modern literature and views on feminism and sexuality. Principia Ethica Written by G.E. Moore, a British Philosopher in 1903.
