English III – October 19, 2017 Do Now: Pick up a laptop Log in to your Google document Agenda: Priority #1: Work on the “narration” paragraph – For the narration paragraph, simply give background on the issue that you are writing about IN YOU OWN WORDS. Answer the 5w and H: Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How. Your opinion should not be apparent in this paragraph! Stick to the facts. Priority #2: Underneath your narration paragraph, answer the following: How does my first article support my position? (Answer in own words, 2-3 sentences) Type out TWO pieces of textual evidence from your first article to back up your answer How does my second article support my position? (Answer in own words, 2-3 sentences) Write out TWO pieces of textual evidence from your second article to back up your answer I will be reading the remaining introductions and giving approval (or not!).
