The 5th Tongji-UBC Symposium on Earthquake Engineering

Performance-based Design Research Method multimode-based energy dissipation design method is used to the performance-based design of eccentric frame-shell wall structure, which is combined with the principle of capacity spectrum method.

Performance-based Design Performance target Θ=0.125%

Performance-based Design

Performance-based Design supplement damping ratio schematic diagram D1

Performance-based Design the damping coefficien

Performance-based Design Performance target structure with dampers structure without damper interstory drift of structure with dampers obviously reduced, interstory drift become uniform and the performance of structure with dampers can reach the proposed target

seismic performance assessment structure with dampers Reduce torsional displacement ratio

seismic performance assessment Research Method Torsional angle capacity method

seismic performance assessment Torsional angle demand curves

seismic performance assessment Torsional angle capacity curves

seismic performance assessment Seismic performance evaluation curves

seismic performance assessment 1.36 structure with dampers structure without damper 1.17 torsional displacement ratio of structure with dampers obviously reduced, seismic performance of the structure was also improved
