ESTP – Training on waste statistics, 6th/7th December 2016 What is secondary waste? Secondary waste: common term for waste from waste treatment facilities, i.e. waste that is generated in the course of waste treatment listed in chapter 19 of the European List of Wastes (except sub-chapters 19 08, 19 09, 19 13) may be waste for recovery or waste for disposal may be hazardous or non-hazardous Secondary waste is not a legally defined term ESTP – Training on waste statistics, 6th/7th December 2016
