P2P services Part of GÉANT2+ services Typically available for NREN on the Dark Fibre Cloud Types: Over G.709 wavelengths: 10Geth or STM-64 interface Directly over the DWDM equipment Over TDM equipment: 10 GEth LAN PHY with VLAN capability Multiple 1GEth STM-64/STM-16 channels => Already used to provide IP Backups GEANT+ -a 10Gbps access to the network that alloes the establishment of switched point to point circuits to other locations on GEANT2. Typically available for NRENs on the fibre cloud.  (Note: althoigh we have done something special for Ireland, Greece and Poland). Typically used for swicted GE services, but can be used for other granularities additional 10Gbps wavelengths: -STM-64 or 10GE accessed via the 1626 -GFP-F encapsulated 10GE LAN-PHY accessed via the MCC These two come in two flaovours: a "primary" where DANTE engineers the circuit on the shortest path, and a "backup" or "secondary" circuit where the the circuit is engineered on a diverse path than the primary.
