Lessons from Chapter 7 Importance of having an humble spirit and respectful, trusting faith in the Lord. We should never place demands on the Lord in order for us to believe The power of the word of the Lord. Miracles were not about the faith of the one being healed. See in this chapter Jesus’ power over disease, space, death, and sin Jesus can turn mourning into rejoicing Jesus may not be what some expect Him to be Let us be careful not to be guilty of thinking someone to be too sinful to even be around or approach We need a sincere, penitent attitude toward sin. Our debt of sin which is forgiven should prompt a deep and abiding love for the Lord
