Christians are chosen by God to serve Him. II Thessalonians 1: 11 To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power, 12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

II Timothy 2: 3 Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. … 11– It is a trustworthy statement : For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him; 12 If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He also will deny us; Notice : All promises are conditioned on endurance.
