E -President Lincoln first decides against slavery -(1863) the civil war started, it was between abolitionists and slave keepers -about 620,000 people died -the northern armies are victorious -South Carolina was the first state to break free of the United States -The revolution of 1776 -1783 had created the civil war of 1861 -1865 E

-Less than 3 weeks after South Carolina broke from the United States Mississippi followed, it became the 2nd state to secede -the number of deaths in the civil war were not equaled to the number of deaths in other wars combined. -The civil war also happened because the South was smaller than the North and it wanted more people and more Power.
