 A star is a ball of hydrogen, helium and enough mass that can bear nuclear fusion at its core  Stars are most often seen at night in a clear sky 
Star Formation Star = large balls of gas that produce energy and shine…. unless old. Nuclear Fusion = combines light elements to create heavy ones….
Lunar Phases. Size Largest stars = supergiants or giants The next step down in size are called medium stars. White dwarf stars are about the size of.

Presentation transcript:

An ETHAN, VIGGY, And ADAM Production What is a supernova?

AND NOW… A SUPERNOVA IS A STAR THAT INCREASES IN BRIGHTNESS BECAUSE IT’S MASS IS EXPLODING(AWESOME!!!!!!)

HOW HOT IS A SUPERNOVA? Supernovae can get up to 100 billion degrees Fahrenheit! That is like1 billion suns and possibly more!

HOW LONG DOES A SUPERNOVA LAST? A supernova, on average lasts about 100 seconds.

HOW BIG IS A SUPERNOVA? Supernovae are usually 1.4 times the sun!!

WHEN WAS THE LAST SUPERNOVA SEEN? The last supernova was September 8,2011.

CONCLUSION In conclusion, we found out that a supernova is a star that's mass explodes because the star is dying.
