Significance of the study Quality is the most important factor of competition worldwide Lecture is the main university business Effective Lecture (Quality Standards) Customer Requirements Quality Customer Satisfaction Quality is the most important factor of competition worldwide. This is applied to all services or products any institutions introduce to client or customers including the educational institutions. And one definition of quality and actually one beauty of quality is its ability to transfer the customers’ requirements into satisfaction regarding these services or products. Lecturing is our main business in the educational institutions and to have high quality of lectures we used to use the standards introduced by the quality assurance and accreditation bodies either national or international and usually these standards are reflecting our own perspective regarding effective lecture. We need to go to the other side to the customer side to our students side to collect their prespection to be able to design through the proper operational requirements the lecture that satisfy them QFD for Effective Lecture

Aim of the study Effective Lecture Operational Requirements Physical Therapy Students’ perception Effective Lecture Quality Function Deployment (QFD) Customer Requirements Customer Satisfaction The QFD is used to collect the customer requirements and design the operational requirements for the process so that the service or product meet the customer satisfaction. So this study aimed to collect the students’ perspective regarding the effective lecture QFD for Effective Lecture

QFD for Effective Lecture Method of the Study 1 Get ethical approval from college council 2 Conduct 2 focus group sessions for brainstorming to generate students’ requirements 15 students Levels 2, 4, 6 QFD for Effective Lecture

QFD for Effective Lecture Method of the Study 3 Design a draft version of the questionnaire 4 Conduct pilot study 5 Have the final version of the questionnaire 6 Survey the students 7 Use excel sheet to calculate the mean rating score of customers’ requirements for the completed questionnaire 20 students 60 students The outcome of the brainstorming sessions is a questionnaire of 36 items within 9 themes Min score 4 QFD for Effective Lecture

Results and Discussion Teacher communicates with the students through a bridge of trust The most important items for effective lecture, 29 (80.55%) items were concerned about teachers QFD for Effective Lecture

Results and Discussion For the three phases, the effective internal and external quality audit was the first priority of the operational requirement. Controversial to the concept of private universities owners, infrastructure and resources came in the last priority of operational requirements. QFD for Effective Lecture

QFD for Effective Lecture conclusion Students’ perspective is an important source of information regarding the effectiveness of educational activities including lectures. Application of QFD is effective for collecting students perception and to design the operational requirement to achieve the targeted effective lecture. QFD for Effective Lecture
