Ancient Egypt: Who am I? Who am I?

.) Who am I? Some credit me with uniting Upper and Lower Egypt. I was the king of Upper Egypt around 3100 B.C.

.) Who am I? I was somehow omitted from your textbook. I ruled Egypt around 2600 B.C. The Great Pyramid at Giza is my legacy.

.) Who am I? I donned a beard around Memphis. I would have been a fan of Mulan. I was the first woman pharaoh of Egypt.

.) Who am I? I wrote an ancient book on the role of a vizier. I was the most well-known one in history.

.) Who am I? I took pride in my children. I defeated the Hittites at Kadesh (sort of). I ruled for 66 years. I enslaved many Hebrews who then revolted and fled. I died at the age of 85.

.) Who am I? I married my half-sister. I reigned from ages 9-19. I allowed polytheism to regain power in Egypt. I cursed my tomb.  I was murdered, died of gangrene, who knows?

.) Who am I? We may have had a hand in the death of King Tutankhamun. We were military viziers while King Tut was young.

.) Who am I? I persecuted the polytheists of my kingdom. I forced everyone to worship one god Aton. My son was King Tut.

.) Who am I? According to biblical traditions I was the adopted son of Seti I I helped lead the Hebrews out of Egypt in what became known as the Exodus.

.) Who am I? I discovered King Tut’s tomb in 1922. I lived to be 66 years old. I never bought into the idea of some “curse.”

.) Who am I? I was a wealthy Englishmen. I funded the King Tut excavation. I died after an insect bite got infected, which bares the same mark King Tut had on his cheek.

.) Who am I? I was famous for my beauty. I was married to Akhenaton.
