LIQUID AND SOLIDS HANDLING Subsea and topside Per E. Sørum, Bus. Dev. Date: Mach Web-site: INNOVATIVE PUMP SOLUTIONS

TOPSIDE - SUBSEA A new pump solution for abrasive, acid and viscous media Contact info: Per Sorum

PG-MAPS Pilot Unique Pump Solution for Topside and Subsea Applications – as built and tested 3

Subsea Tophole drilling, Mud & Drillcuttings transportation Flooding/ flushing of pipelines topside or subsea Subsea injection of Water/ Chemicals/ MEG/ Methanol Liquid boosting/ pumping Hose Diaphragm Pump Applications

Four off - hose diaphragm pump heads 2 off - Electrical linear actuators in twin drive configuration Pump technology, well known slurry, waste water, industrial mining and sewage, Well proven design Hose Diaphragm Pump Configuration

Technology of pumps and drive Gain all advantages of the Hose Diaphragm pump technology Combined with a light weight and powerful Magnetic (PMM) linear drive All Electric Pumping sequence 4 pumpheads Top view configuration

Hose Diaphragm Pump Advantages-1 Zero NPSH - No topside VSD – only subsea control POD No topside lube-oil unit No cooling arrangement is required No pulsation –when 4 pump-heads are configured with two actuators No dynamic seals or product lubricated seals No rotational pump parts in the process = less wear Built in redundancy –pump with reduced capacity with one actuator and two pump heads.

Hose Diaphragm Pump Advantages-2 Tolerant to sand and particles –<20mm in this configuration Zero leakage to the environment –as the pump and drive is hermetically sealed. Safety –Hydraulic fluid and pumped fluid separated with a double hose diaphragm. Subsea Motor Control POD located close to pump –Retrievable and packed in a canister. Standard control signals/ digital signals connected to client control POD AC or DC power supply/ transmission

Working Principles of MULTISAFE Hose-Diaphragm Pump The whole crackshaft is replaced with El. linear actuator
