Opportunity Exists for Pharma to Assist IDNs in Managing Patient Population Across Conditions Health systems fail to achieve a high level of success in managing patient populations across all conditions, creating opportunity for biopharmaceutical companies that align program/resource offerings to either complement existing IDN population health management initiatives or introduce innovative approaches for specific patient populations. One of the things that health systems are typically weak in, is educating patients and getting them to be more actively involved in their own care.
