Tom Curvin Partner, Sutherland Asbill & Brennan Atlanta Area Council, 2012 Council Popcorn Kernel

Tom Curvin is a partner in the litigation group at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan in Atlanta. Tom went to college at the University of Miami and law school at the University of Notre Dame. Tom joined Sutherland in 1994, after a clerkship with U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson, in Pensacola, Florida. Tom serves as the ethics partner for Sutherland’s Atlanta office, and he writes and speaks frequently on attorney ethics, professional liability, and the attorney-client privilege. Tom is listed in Best Lawyers in America in the area of legal malpractice law and has been named a Georgia SuperLawyer since 2008.   Tom and his wife Ann and their three children, Will, John and Elizabeth, are parishioners at Atlanta’s Cathedral of Christ the King. In addition to serving on the BSA Atlanta Area Council Board, Tom serves as a den leader, treasurer and committee member of Cub Scout Pack 165, at Christ the King in the North Atlanta District. Tom’s sons Will and John are Boy Scouts at Troop 74 in North Atlanta, and his daughter Elizabeth is a Brownie Scout at Christ the King.
