Update Studielink 4 May 2016 Jascha van Hoorn

The Studielink Team

Essence of Studielink Services to institutions of higher education to support easy enrollment: Studielink is a smart 'postman', that questions students, collects data from various sources and delivers to institutions and students. Studielink does not own processes and data, these are owned by the educational institutions. Standardisation Institutions do not compete on administrative processes but on the quality of their education process Exchange of information between multiple partners requires standardization Data quality is better: earlier and better coordinated with all partners

Studielink organization Foundation Studielink 13 employees (10FTE circa) Board of 5 board members in higher education Owned by all institutes Founded in 2003 Business plan with focus on themes like Internationalisation (of students) Quality of all operational tasks Support for broadening the enrollment chain Institutes are indirect represented in several groups <nog iets>

Student administration in the Netherlands 17 universities approx. 260.000 students 39 universities of applied sciences approx. 450.000 students Each year about 810.000 students make a request for enrolment with Studielink about 180.000 students enrol for the first time about 9% foreign students in the Netherlands of which 37% are German students (23.500 in total) in 2014-2015

Update It system: tendering proces Organization: continuity Policy: > Institutions select instead of government (+ new loan system = equal chances less privileged?) Internationalization Cooperation private institutions
