A good leader needs to have the following traits: Visionary, Thinking, Creative, People Person Need to understand the ‘Ego States’ – Parent, Adult, Child – be aware of situation and be mindful when to use these states Right ego state will ‘hook’ the right response from staff Typically for leaders – use Nurturing – Adult – Free Child ego states for win-win outcomes ITE’s Audience Rating

“ We see leaders in everyone at every level of the strata in an organisation. We have talents in different areas. We are not so much interested in moving from one plateau to another plateau, but what we want to see are peaks of excellence. As a leader, we need to ensure that we nurture and groom different levels of staff to reach these peaks of excellence.” Mdm Ho Geok Choo HCS Academy February 2011
