Work Session: States of Matter Foldable Solid Liquid Gas Plasma Temperature Kinetic Energy Phases of Matter

Phases of Matter Temperature Kinetic Energy Characteristics Substances that have a definite shape and volume. Atoms and molecules cannot move too much Substances that have volume, but take the shape of their containers. Atoms and molecules move freely around each other Substances that do NOT have a definite shape or volume. Atoms and molecules flow more freely than liquids and are far apart from each other Extremely hot gases made of free ions and electrons. Rarely occur naturally on Earth Examples Apple Book Car Cell phone Chair Temperature Kinetic Energy Phases of Matter
