The PHYSICS of the Global Positioning System Person 1 (person1@illinois.edu), Person2 (person2@illinois.edu), Person3 (person3@illinois.edu) Introduction: what is GPS? Some text here. Use font sizes that are at least 16 point. Do not use Times New Roman Font. I suggest verdana or arial fonts. Make sure you select colors that show up well on the orange background. I prefer to use bold fonts to make the page easier to read. More info here. The choice of colors, fonts, etc is up to you. I would like for the title and general layout to be preserved. Try to use a combination of text and figures. If there is too much text, people won’t read it. Fill the poster however you see fit. Figures should have captions and also acknowledgements. (Where did you get the figure from?) More text on why physics is relevant. Make sure that the size of your figures is consistent with the size of the text. It can be misleading. Remember that this one page of powerpoint is 2 feet wide by 3 feet tall. I sug Spring 2013 PHYS 199REL Poster Project 29-Feb-2012
