INTERSTATE 40 Major east-west Interstate Highway running through the south-central portion of the US More of Interstate 40 passes through Tennessee, 455 miles (732 km), than any other state. The interstate goes through all of the three Grand Divisions of Tennessee and its three largest cities, Memphis, Nashville and Knoxville. The section of Interstate 40 which runs between Memphis and Nashville is often referred to as the Music Highway.

PORT OF MEMPHIS – VALERO MEMPHIS REFINERY - Only Oil Refinery in State of TN - Originally constructed in 1941 with numerous expansions Primarily processes light and sweet crude oil received through the Capline and Diamond K pipelines Nearly 100 percent of production in light products, including regular and premium gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and petrochemicals Located on 250 acres along the Mississippi River’s Lake McKellar, enabling it to serve many upriver markets at a significant cost advantage Extensive logistics system, including access to a crude oil pipeline, a jet fuel pipeline, a large truck rack and a dock adjacent to the plant Direct pipeline that carries jet fuel from the refinery located at the port to the Memphis International Airport. Employs approximately 310 personnel
