Night Camp at the Phoenix Zoo Sunshine and Saguaro Field Trip Wednesday, April 4 - Thursday, April 5
Schedule WEDNESDAY 5:30 – meet at school 6:15 – arrive at Zoo 6:30 – eat pizza dinner 7:00 – 9:00 – Night Camp SLEEP… we hope : ) THURSDAY 8:00 – breakfast 8:30 – Activity 9:00-1:20 – zoo 1:30 – back to school 4:00 – go home No school Friday
Important Times Students need to be at school NO LATER THAN 5:30 pm on Wednesday! Bus will leave for the zoo at 5:45 pm. Your child will be dismissed at the regular time on Thursday. There will be no school Friday.
Eating! Dinner – Papa Johns Pizza at the zoo Late Night Snack at the Zoo Breakfast at the Zoo Morning snacks – fruit snacks, trail mix, granola bars – at the zoo Lunch – back at school The Zoo will give us souvenir water bottles so please DO NOT send a water bottle.
What to Pack Sleeping Bag Pillow Toothbrush Hairbrush Hair tie Pajamas Change of clothes – Underwear – Socks – Shorts – Shirt – Jacket CLOSED-TOED SHOES
What not to Pack There are some things you do not need to pack. We will be providing them. Thank you! Toothpaste (we will have some to share with everyone) Sunscreen (each group leader will have a tube for their group) Washcloth (we will have sanitizing baby wipes for the kids to freshen up – washcloths and soap will be too much hassle)

Activities at the Zoo We will be learning about endangered animals! We will participate in the following activities with night camp. Trail hikes Animal encounters Educational activities Dinner and snack
