Field Experience #2

Interesting points Smart kid, but does not want to do the work, can be a disruption. What do you do? Put him in a more challenging class. Give him more challenging problems, differenciation, multiple ways to teach the same topic. Students are making songs about math vocab/topics SAT questions, collegeboard.com has a question each day and other stuff. When do we need this stuff.

Activities (Where do we get them): Intermath, NCTM, Mathcounts, Teachervision.com, Dr. Math forum (http://mathforum.org/library/drmath/drmath.high.html), google math terms Some teachers are just lecturing and then walking around and helping students.
