So you want more incentives, RIGHT?

Does your team have what it takes to CAPTURE THE FLAG? VS VS

Here’s how it works... Every month, there will be competitions. Teams will compete based on entries, activities, and challenges. Points are tallied and tracked for all to view As teams lead in points, they get additional incentives. The winner is awarded at the 8th grade Talent Show during FEVER Week. Here’s how it works...

Student Team Leaders We are also looking for student representatives from each team to create an 8th grade Student Council. This will ensure that you, the students have a voice and are enacting change. Each team will have two representatives: a Team Leader and a Co-Leader.

November Challenges

What’s your story Essay/ Storyboard You are tasked to focus on your 1st quarter experience to answer the following questions in an essay or a storyboard: Academics How well did you perform in all of your classes and what were some of the factors of your performance? How do you think your grades represent you or tell your story as an 8th grade student? Social Involvement How involved were you in the various clubs, sports and school wide functions and initiatives during first quarter? Why? How does your social involvement express your story as an 8th grade student? Behavior How would you describe your behavior in the 1st quarter, how would you say your behavior impacted your academics and social involvement? How does your behavior tell your story as an 8th grade student? Your Story Continues What do you want your story to be 2nd quarter? What will you keep doing, stop, or change in the 2nd quarter?

Essay/ Storyboard continued The team with the most entries will win points The team with the winning essay/ storyboard will receive double points. All entries are due by Friday, December 2, 2016.

High School Highlight NIGHT The team with the most parents present at High School Highlight Night will win points! Tomorrow, Thursday, November 17, 2016

At the Teacher’s Discretion Dress for success* this Friday, November 18th as the professional you aspire to be. Each homeroom will then be able to create and submit their own mannequin challenge entry.
