Alternates for the week: Social Studies While studying Africa, we learned that it is not a country, but a continent! We read, “Africa is NOT a Country,” and learned about some information about each of the 53 countries in Africa. We also learned and colored the flags of Kenya and Nigeria. Science In science, we distinguished non-living things from living things. Students wrote about their own living thing. We also started learning about seeds.
