PREPARING THE TEACHING LECTURE Carefully consider the nature of the target audience. Rehearse the lesson to build confidence. Level Four 409.02 OHP #2

DELIVERY Simple rather than complex words. No sub-standard English. Clearly define each new technical word. Use specific rather then general words. use sentences of varying length. Level Four 409.02 OHP #3

ADVANTAGES Present many ideas in a short period of time Introducing a subject present information difficult to obtain otherwise Can be supplemented with other teaching devices and methods. Level Four 409.02 OHP #4
