Testimony of the Old Testament The term “Lord” used often in the New Testament in reference to Christ is actually derived from the Old Testament _________ of Lord (Adonai). The various contexts of the Old Testament usage reveal that _________ is the person in view. In that respect Adonai is clearly defined as being ______.
