UVA grad, worked in selective admission for over 20 years. I have worked at MHC, Harvard, Princeton and Duke universities before returning to UVA, so I have a clear sense of the admission process from a variety of institutional perspectives.

Ask yourself…. Would I be challenged academically here? Could I thrive in this academic environment? Could I contribute to the school, in and out of the classroom? Do I feel a connection with the students? Could I envision myself as a part of this community?

Take time to understand… THE DEADLINES Early, Regular, Rolling , Open THE REQUIREMENTS Transcript, Testing, Recs, Essays, Fee, Other THE INSTRUCTIONS Essay length and format, number of rec letters, etc.
