Implementation of fish monitoring THE INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP LIFE + NATURE & BIODIVERSITY PROJECT RESTORATION OF THE LJUBLJANICA RIVER CORRIDOR AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE RIVER’S FLOW REGIME “Ljubljanica connects” Implementation of fish monitoring Tomi Leon GEATEH d.o.o.

GOALS: overview and description of fish population and its habitat as also situation on river morphology due to human impacts from available data basis field work with electro-fishing, fish sampling, fish marking and analysis of the fish population size overview of the Danube Salmon, Danube Roach and Striped Chub population in the Ljubljanica River corridor and main tributaries priority list of the streams suitable for spawning and nursery piaces

WHAT IS DONE: preliminary study of fish population from all available data→lack of information overview of spawning and nursery places for the Danube Salmon, Danube Roach and Striped Chub population
