Microvilli Function: Increase the surface area of cells and aid in absorption and secretion Location: the cell membrane Found: Although the primary cilium was discovered in 1898, it was largely ignored. Only recently has great progress been made in understanding it Affect on the body: Aids the migration of white blood cells
