When does your jurisdiction require a bond to be posted? Arkansas, New Jersey and Ohio– Does not require a bond. Tennessee -- Have provision for a bond, but have no accounts with bonds. Georgia, Montana and Manitoba -- Require a bond when license has been revoked.
How Long Does a Bond Need to be on File in your Jurisdiction? Illinois and Idaho -- Returned only when the company goes our of business or "hardship“ Saskatchewan and Kentucky -- Can release after one full year without outstanding balances or returns

Does your jurisdiction require the carrier to purchase a new set of decals and how much do they charge? Yes = 35 Jurisdictions No = 11 Jurisdictions Cost averaging = $5 Oregan -- A new set of decals is required when additional trucks are added to the account, not due to reinstating the account. License/decal fee is $280 for the first vehicle then an additional $15 for each vehicle added up to 21 vehicles at which point the fee is a max of $575. There is no additional license/decal charge after the carrier has paid the maximum. There is no fee charged for a replacement set of decals.
BC -- charges a initiation fee of $200 and an annual IFTA licence fee of $100. No fees are charged for decals. Manitoba --We charge $65.00 annually for our license but if we have revoked it they are required to pay that fee again Quebec -- $50 for a new account and the renewal; Kentucky -- $50, $250; $500 for failure to file or reinstate based on the number of times the account has been suspended or revoked.
