1700 - Small village Draw the following: River – ½” wide running east to west Bridge 2 roads one running north to south, crossing at the bridge One running east to west 10 houses 1 Church, cemetery, store, pub, coalmine, at least 50 trees

1745 - Round 1 Construct a canal that parallels the river

1750 - Round 2 Add 5 houses (total 15)

1760 - Round 3 Fence off an area 3”x3” for commons area Add 5 houses (total of 20) Add one more nice house

1773 - Round 4 Add one factory next to the river Add 5 houses for workers

1774 - Round 5 Add 15 houses (40 total) 1 church 1 pub 1 store You may draw additional roads and 1 additional bridge

1775 - Round 6 Add 5 new factories on river bank Add 5 houses (45 total)

1780 - Round 7 Add 5 tenements.

1781 - Round 8 Add 1: store, pub, church, school Make church convenient to community
