Presentation transcript:

Safety first… How many of you have crossed a road without looking? How many of you know someone who has been hit by a vehicle? How many of you have crossed a road from behind or in front of a bus without looking? Play from 18 seconds  and finish at 5:22 

Watch this… You can watch the whole think or just up to 20 seconds

Could this ever happen to you? Why? Why not? Do you know how to cross a road??

Think before you cross Wait for the bus to drive off before you cross. Check that there is no on coming traffic from both directions. Use a crossing (Zebra, Pedestrian, Lolly pop person) if there is one. Double check.

Please… Don’t run out into the road without looking, the repercussions could be catastrophic. Think before you cross, is it safe? Are there any vehicles coming?
