Presentation transcript:

Action points – ESA meeting Brussels, 2nd & 3rd April 2014

Outcomes of the CEA/CBA-workshop To be uploaded on CIRCA: Presentations, background docs minutes Within three weeks (April 25th)

„Best practice“ document To include: Information/experiences from CEA/CBA-workshop, other sources & Discussions at ESA-meeting (e.g. stakeholder involvement, “pragmatic approach” etc.); Detailed “step-wise” approach/diagramm (after revision) to be included Outline of document/TOC: any first comments to Veronique today; revised version will be send to ESA by the end of the week; comments by April 14th First full draft for commenting by ESA: in the summer

Issues for GES/MSCG For MSCG: “flag” the issue of baseline being part of gap analysis – including expected effects of existing measures (see also diagram Chapter 4 of the POM-recommendation). The reality in some MS seems to be different: consequences for POM-development (?)

Work on co-financing [Different work stream: check-list etc. discussion at MSCG in May] For ESA: Draft guidance send for comments in the summer

POM-recommendation Reworking finalized for most parts: current version send after the meeting; if needed, comments ASAP (April 8th?) Esp. regarding: chapter 4.4. (Composing a POM, including most of POM-sustainability-chapter and POM content) & chapter 7 on CEA/CBA (reworking done by ARCADIS): Any comments/inputs on current version: please send ASAP Revised version for commenting (whole document including chapters 4.X / 7): April 11th Final commenting by April 25th To be submitted to MSCG for the May-meeting (by April 28th)

Further ESA-WG work Clarify (for second cycle) what information is needed from GES regarding env. Effects of measures (linked to monitoring) Define reporting further regarding economics Way ahead: collect ideas based on current work for the next Oct-meeting (reminder will be send in September), discuss there update of work programme
