3 Major Capstone Assignments The main question to ask yourself is “What needs to be changed in my profession/department and why?” This is the glue of the course. Paper Project Portfolio Write an argumentative paper based on the question: “What needs to be changed in my profession or department? Why?” Design a plan that you can actually do in order to start a change in your department: “What needs to be changed in my profession or department? How?” This portfolio will be used to document your educational and professional experience and development Your paper must include: Your project must include: Documents you can include: Thesis State your opinion about exactly what needs to be changed. Supporting Facts Identify at least three reasons to support your thesis statement. Counter Argument State any opposing arguments and a rebuttal (or response). Ask yourself what someone would say to oppose you and how would you respond. Conclusion Provide a summary or your paper. Audience To whom will you present this idea?
