BERNINA Visual Schema
What is the visual schema? The visual schema is a set of graphic templates created by BERNINA USA for the Dealer network The objective of the Visual Schema is to make it easy for you to edit and use visual posts on your Facebook page The templates work well for: Shared Values content that would normally be a text only status update, including: Quotes Questions Holiday wishes Content meant to engage and encourage sharing
Template Options A few template options are provided for your use! First, we will walk through step-by-step instructions on how to use the Visual Schema, provide sample questions and share actual examples in action. Then, the following pages are where you can edit and save your images—right from this PowerPoint! Template options include: BERNINA branded with logo BERNINA look and feel including the stitched line One option includes a photo. Use your “arrange” menu in PowerPoint to ensure the photo stays on top of the graphic and is framed by the Polaroid
Step-by-Step Instructions for Creation Enter your text into the pre-populated text box on the slide We recommend centering your text box and stacking the text using a center alignment Use the Hand of Sean font if you have it on your computer Keep your post short and sweet! If it doesn’t fit within the template it is probably a little too long! Stick to the point to ensure your message resonates with users Don’t forget that you can resize the text and also shift the text box so your post fits within the template Enter your text here…
Step-by-Step Instructions Select the text box AND the graphic Press control on your keyboard and click both the text box and the graphic to highlight Once you see the solid outline around the text and the graphic you are good to go! Group the text box and the graphic. Depending on your version of PowerPoint, your “group” option location varies. The easiest way to find the “group” option is to right- click and select “group.” (Make sure you keep both boxes selected.) Once you group the text box and graphic, you can select the entire image and select “ungroup” under the same menu. This allows you to go back and edit the text for your future template usage Find “group” in your home tab under “arrange” Right-click to find “group”
Step-by-Step Instructions Do not resize the graphic! It is sized for your Facebook post and resizing may cause your graphic to become distorted once you upload Right-click on your graphic and click “Save As Picture” Save your picture with a title and to a location that makes it easy to find, whether that is your desktop or pictures folder Upload the graphic you just created to Facebook in the same manner you would update an image See sample posts to get a glimpse of what the Visual Schema looks like in action What projects are you sewing this weekend?
