Dress Code No offensive clothing Mr. Clarke decides what’s offensive No hats or hoods inside building Be careful with loose clothing, cords, straps Tie shoe laces What about flip-flops? Dress to learn
Driving Policy Home schools provide transportation High School students may not drive without prior approval from the Principal Post Secondary students with approval to drive may not drive other students Safety & liability issue
Personal Electronics Cell Phones/Beepers/Pagers Turned off Out of sight CD Players, MP3, flash drives, etc. Not required for classroom activities Turned off & out of sight Your responsibility if you choose to bring Take no pictures in school
Money Large Sums of Money Not required for classroom activities No vending machines available to students Don’t bring - don’t flash
Fire Drills & School Lockdown Outside – Meeting place Exit route – Hall to parking lot exit door Inside – Stay away from windows No headphones, earbuds, mp3’s etc. Phones turned off & out of sight Listen for announcements
Hall Passes & Bathroom Sign-out Teacher is responsible to know where students are Leaving the classroom Ask for permission Take a hall pass Get initial from visited person Return hall pass to teacher Using the restroom Ask for permission to go to restroom Sign out & back in upon return
Food & Drink Not allowed in classroom Bad for hardware Liquid will short-circuit the electronics Crumbs in the keyboard make it difficult to type Not required for learning
