FPD Committee Highlights ACG TF SNARF approved by TC on July 6 [Doc. 5291] : Test methods of ambient color gamut for FPD under indoor environments Displays are usually used under indoor environments such as office and living rooms. And the measurement results of display color gamut are affected by various issues such as types and directions of illuminant. Therefore, it is necessary to standardize the test methods to evaluate ambient color gamut under indoor environments for FPD. SCOPE: Standardize the test methods of ambient color gamut for FPD under indoor environments Cycle 2,2012 Ballot which is approval by TC meeting on Nov.25, 2011. <Month> <Year> <Region> <Committee>

FPD Committee Highlights 3D Display Gray-to-Gray Cross-Talk TF SNARF approved by TC on July 6 [Doc. 5292] : Test methods of Gray-to-Gray Cross-talk for FPD-based stereoscopic display Crosstalk phenomenon is the main factor to affect quality of stereopsis on stereoscopic display. Crosstalk of white/black patterns has been defined. In real case, complicated images will be shown on stereoscopic display, so it is not enough to define the crosstalk measurement by white/black patterns. Crosstalk of gray levels is the more suitable index to represent product performance. Therefore, it is necessary to standardize the test methods of gray to gray crosstalk. FPD Committee Highlights Touch Screen Panel TF SNARF approved by TC on July 6 [Doc. 5293] : Test Method for Positional Accuracy of Touchscreen Panel Touchscreen panel is beyond doubt one of the most crucial technologies, and has attracted the eyes of global investors. As a result, the related standard has played an increasingly important role. Among all parameters, positional accuracy is the most critical one while evaluating the performance of touchscreen panels. Therefore, a proper and subjective measurement for positional accuracy should be addressed to meet the growing needs Discussion the definition for the test method and required to re-work for definition of the document titles by next TF meeting. <Month> <Year> <Region> <Committee>
