Time schedule The time schedule for the NCU project is under revision, and has not been finalized yet. The previously announced time for publication of tender is no longer valid. Scope Definition: «The NCU is an all service (army, navy, air force, home guard and special forces) combat uniform system for male and female soldiers. It is an inner to outer combat uniform system (from top to toe), which is functional in worldwide operations. » Included in the system: Combat uniform Nordic (all seasons)/Tropical/Desert Underwear – cold and hot climate male and female Insulation layer(s) Outer layer(s) – Wind, rain and/or snow protection Different patterns/colors; «Nordic summer», navy, desert and snow Not included in the system: Accessories for extremities: Head, hands and feet Boots, gloves and head wear Nordic Combat Uniform System (NCU)
