Eritrea is one of the most repressive states in the world. THE #6 PLACE WHERE CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION IS WORST Eritrea is one of the most repressive states in the world. While the government recognises Christianity, there are varying levels of persecution depending on church denomination. Most congregations outside the Orthodox Church aren’t able to gather together at all. Hundreds of Christians were arrested in 2017, and many more remain imprisoned. Some are even locked in metal shipping containers.

PRAY FOR OUR PERSECUTED FAMILY Pray that the Eritrean Church will intercede for their persecutors to have a change of heart. Pray that the Christian prisoners will have opportunities, and the courage, to share Jesus with their jailers. Pray that the Lord will raise up leaders to fill the shoes of those church leaders who are currently being imprisoned.
