Acceleration October 20, 2015

Bell Work Four objects are traveling with the same speed. Which object would require the most force to come to a complete stop? Why? a. soccer ball b. cannon ball c. ping pong ball d. beach ball A bat hits a baseball with a force of 100 Newtons. The ball must also hit the bat with a force of 100 Newtons. So why does the ball fly away?

Learning Targets Calculate the acceleration Analyze the data collected in the activity to determine how quickly their buggy accelerates.

Agenda Bellwork Hand in homework packet Lab Check homework Reminder: Quiz tomorrow, bring a calculator.
