Location The location is southeastern California. They lived in the Mojave Desert. The climate was hot.

Shelter The shelter is made out of willow, strong grass, and straw. Their homes are called thatched huts.

Food The food they eat was deer, rabbits , beavers , fish and meat. They grew pumpkin, tomatoes, carrots, and beans. They drank the juice from cactus plants.

Culture They made dolls and pots out of clay . They made boats out of wood. They use beads to make clothing.
