Bullying Awareness Brewer High School 12/9/2018 Bullying School colors More prominent than we may think vice principal with number of incidents in the last 5 years 12/9/2018 Bullying

Introduction Bullying generally occurs in common areas (hallways, cafeteria) Electronic bullying is becoming common We must develop an integrated school strategy The majority of incidents not in classroom Work with vice principal and resource officer texting is a big problem but easier to prove 12/9/2018 Bullying

Be Pro-active Be Sensitive to the behavior Address the issue immediately Monitor areas near your classroom Discuss in your morning T.A.S.C. groups 12/9/2018 Bullying

Communication Post School Policy on Web site and highlight section in student agendas Include section in first expectation letter sent home Talk to colleagues about patterns of behavior Communicate with students, parents and each other 12/9/2018 Bullying
