Justification for the Necessity of the Regulation about Lane Keeping Assist System The lane departure accidents occur the number of about 3,000/Year in Japan. There are many fatalities and injured persons in some case of the lane departure accidents. Therefore, there is a social demand for the countermeasure of the lane departure accidents. The following pages show the some case of the lane departure accidents in Japan.
