The fog comes on little cat feet Annotation Silently the fog comes at the feet of the cat to cover it.

It sits looking Over harbour and city On silent haunches. Annotation Along with the cat the fog also looks at the harbour (Sea Port) and the city. The fog is sitting silently at the haunches (The bend neck and back) of the cat.

And then moves on. Annotation Finally the fog moves away from the body of the cat and moves to another place to take the shape of another object or animal.

Meaning of the difficult words
