The Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act What is it? The Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act UOCAVA YOU-OH-KA-VA Allows you to vote absentee while overseas.

Who was it made for? Active military members Their family members U.S. citizens overseas Merchant Marine

When separating… You will no longer be covered by the UOCAVA. Separating sailors & their family members need to notify the local election official of the change in voter registration status and update personal information in order to vote locally. Complete a National Voter Registration Form
