User Support Network Group What is PRODCOM? PRODCOM is a system for the collection and dissemination of statistics on the production of manufactured goods. It is based on a product classification called the PRODCOM List. The legal bases are Council Regulation 3924/91 and Commission Regulation 912/2004, plus an annual Commission Regulation on the List 27-28 February 2013 User Support Network Group

User Support Network Group PRODCOM List About 3900 headings relating to manufactured products 8-digit code (ex: 32.50.42.50 – Sunglasses) Digits 1-4 refer to the NACE class in which the producing enterprise is normally classified, and digits 1-6 are the corresponding CPA code Each heading normally corresponds to one or more Combined Nomenclature codes In the example chosen Nace 32.50 Manufacture of medical and dental instruments and supplies CPA 32.50.42 Spectacles, gogles and the like, corrective, protective or other 32.50.41 contact lenses 32.50.43frames for mounting spectables. 27-28 February 2013 User Support Network Group
